“Shannon did a great job assuring me that it is completely okay to continue taking my antidepressants while I am trying to conceive. She even agreed to do a 3 week follow-up after my talk therapy appointments with Tala Kolb (she is also great!) & possible dose adjustments to help with my grieving process due to my two miscarriages. Anyway, even though my care here has only been for a short time (less than a month), I have had an awesome experience with the psychiatrist & therapist so far. Thank you all for what you do!!!”

Shannon was very personable, I felt listened too and cared for. I look forward to meeting with her again.
This doctor is in the RULA network, and the patient is required to sign up through their patient portal. Before and after the appointment, there were technical issues with the portal that has not been resolved to this day. Upon meeting with this provider, she mentioned that I was erroneously booked by ZocDoc and RULA for her service. I should not be charged for the visit. I am being contacted by RULA for a remaining balance but unable to send payment because their portal won’t sync to my profile. Frustrating experience for sure. Not happy to be told by this provider that I wouldn’t get charged, but now I am needing to pay.

She’s very caring, sincere, and authentic.
Shannon did a great job assuring me that it is completely okay to continue taking my antidepressants while I am trying to conceive. I have never met such a wonderful doctor. I had Med-ical coverage for the past 4 years. I have seen several PCP, therapists, and the psychiatrist assigned to me was never helpful. I never felt she fully listened nor supported me. This is not the case with Shannon!!!! Here is why she is to be recognized: 1) SHE REALLY LISTENS! I felt Shannon really took the time to hear my heart and the struggles I have. She did not belittle me or make me feel like what I am doing does not work. 2) She has COMPASSION- I am not sure if this is because she has psychedelic training or if that is who she just is...BUT I think that may make a huge difference in the quality of care. A lot of people are using psychedelics now for mental health and this was the first time I spoke to a professional on the matter. She could not prescribe it but still supported my decisions. I have never felt more empowered than with her. 3) She doesn't try to push drugs on you like other docs (and not make you feel bad if you decline their medications) 4) She was thoughtful enough to ask me what supplements I have been using to treat my medical issues. She supported DLPA and NAC.....I am so tired of getting no support from docs just because I do not take their drugs. Shannon was fully supportive! Even though Ms. Jones did not prescribe anything, I am so satisfied knowing that I have access to quality doctors like her.
Really kind and encouraging support
She was wonderful to work with and I felt she really took the time to understand me and provide for me. Was very satisfied with the service she provided.
I found Shannon very informative and helpful. I felt very relieved to strategize ways to improve my mental health with Shannon’s guidance.
Shannon was compassionate, responsive, and careful in her approach. I am deeply satisfied with our first meeting and treatment plan.
Exceeded my expectations.
I have worked with many practitioners on my journey of mental wellness and Shannon by far has been my most favorite. I appreciate that she utilizes a holistic approach and is conservative with medication. She is very supportive of my goals and allows me the sovereignty to decide what feels best for me. It is also very clear that she stays up to date with the latest research and I appreciate the education she has provided to me in understanding what I am experiencing.
