About Dr. Sharon Fang
Dr. Sharon Fang is a board-certified dermatologist whose interest is in general medical dermatology and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She is skilled in all areas of medical dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin rashes. She also performs various dermatologic procedures for both benign and malignant neoplasms of the skin.
Dr. Fang graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Environmental Sciences in 1996. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000. She then completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in 2004.
Dr. Fang’s memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the Chicago Dermatological Society, and the Illinois Dermatological Society.

By far, Dr. Fang is the best dermatologist I've ever seen. Dr. Fang actually listened to my issue and concerns, and because of that, she was able to make a diagnosis off of my lifestyle because she took into consideration what I had explained to her. On top of that, the diagnosis was for an incredibly rare skin condition. My quality of life has now improved significantly, and I've been able to put my issue into remission, all simply because of how attentive and expansive Dr. Fang's knowledge is. If you need a dermatologist who is willing to actually listen to you and think outside of the box, Dr. Fang is the one.
