Patient reviews for Dr. Shashi Goel
Did not like seeing the PA instead of the doctor on my last visit. This visit saw the doctor. She is very comfortable to talk with.
Thought she was very nice. Happy to have a good PCP So close to where Im s resident..
I scheduled an appointment for a well woman’s exam — I went in and what I scheduled the appt for had to be scheduled for a later date
Still my Dr.
Excellent provider. Takes time with patients. I would give her a million thumbs up for her going extra mile.
I was seen for a routine (first time) visit. Dr Goel was warm, and caring. She took the time to bridge a medication, but only after some prompting, and her protestations about why I should see the first doctor with public health. I'll still come back for a follow up though. If you are seeing Dr. Goel, make sure to advocate for yourself, otherwise, you will find that your needs will not be met here. Most doctors cut off their patient an average of 11 seconds into the history, and physical. Dr. Goel took about 21 seconds to interrupt.
Excellent experience. Dr. Goel is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and I plan to stay with her as my primary care physician.
Didn't give me the help I was looking for or needed
I absolutely enjoyed my first visit with Dr Goel. I’ve already recommended her to friends and coworkers. She’s real and genuine. You are a patient and a person not just a chart. I found my PCP!
She was good, but the office was filthy
Enjoyed my visit . The doctor was very courteous and cared about what I was saying to her. I felt like she was paying attention to me and she cared about my health and well-being. So happy I chose this doctor.
Went in for a referral to a specialist. one week later it was still not sent. staff is very unpleasant!
I needed a specific type of antibiotic in shot form so I was sent to another location. She was very nice and caring. Thank you for helping me feel better.
She was great I have super anxiety and even tho I was having a melt down inside they were super sweet very nice and polite and it seems they do everything they talked to me looked at a rash and did blood work right there in the office and I got eased into things like a exam that stresses me out very very nice thank you !!!!
I love Shashi Jain Goel, MD and 24 hours later feel so much better!!!!
Dr. Goel has been my PCP for several years and one of the characteristics I like about her the most is that she will sit down with you during the exam and actually talk with you. I don't feel like a number or a chart or just another patient. Like the old days when our doctor, pharmacist and mailman knew your first name.
It was quick and smooth The only issue I had was the right to go back was wrong however she fixed it immediately after I came back to the office.
My appointment was at 11:30 I showed up at 11 to fill out medical history and other documents and didn't get called till 11:45 but then I got left waiting till 12:30 to be seen by the doctor... by the time I got out it was 1:30. So my entire time there took a little over 2 hours... Doctor didnt even greet me or anything she just walked in and went straight to the medical questions.
She was extremely rude and condescending to me. I will never go back there again.
Dr. Goel is very friendly and makes me feel comfortable during my appointments. I feel like she really cares about my wellbeing.
A very relaxed environment. She was easy to talk to. Very nice person.
The doctor was quick and my appointment was very simple, but I just feel like the receptionists could have been more pleasant. I literally heard the older woman tell a client over the phone that she had a lot of work to do and didn't have time for all their questions. I work in the medical field and I can tell from experience that behavior such as this, can cause a loss on clientele, whether it be the person she was speaking to or anyone who overheard the conversation, like myself.
I always feel listened to when I go to this doctor. The office is warm and friendly, the doctor and office personnel interact well. I am able to get a walk-in visit when needed.
Waited about 50 mins, but i was about 15 mins late, and that's about right for a Dr's visit, then I was in and out.
It was great like seeing a old friend. Ask me a lot of questions because it was over two years since I was there last, I going back for my physical in December all is good. Very happy with the Dr . and her staff .
I saw the doctor for a broken wrist. After x-rays I was informed that it wasn't broken and would correct itself. A second opinion from a "qualified" doctor confirmed my suspicion that the wrist was indeed fractured in two different places. I will never see this doctor again and would not recommend her to anyone I care about.
She listened to the problems i was having and asked questions, and gave options.
By far, one of the best doctors I have found in a very long time. She didn't make me feel rushed when I was telling her about myself, nor at any point did she make me feel like I was smaller than her because I don't have a degree. (which I'm finding is a common trait amongst many practitioners.) She seemed genuinely concerned with my problems and spent more than the typical 2- 5 minutes in the room with me. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Doctors like her are hard to come by nowadays.
She is a wonderful and caring physician. Very good at her job. Highly recommend her.
Experience is not good. I am surprised to see its Urgent care. Second long wait time , waited more than an hour after appointment time. Doctor's office is very dirty , waiting room was smelling badly. Doctor was OK , she did not seems confident , was just saying i think so , and so. i Would not go again and wont recommend any one.
For people who have pain this is not the right one since the wait is too long. She does know her stuff.
Extremely disappointing in so many ways. I have been seeing this doctor for about 9 years. You know how things usually get better with time and practice or whatever? Unfortunately I would have to say this is not the case here. I would like to explain the details but out of fear of retaliation I believe I should remain anonymous. I'm done wasting my time with this dr office. I recommend any dr office is better then this dump!!
Didn't even see the doctor as I was still multiple people behind in line and it had been over an hour
They were overwhelmed with walk-ins and managed as well as could be expected. Also the student who took my blood did very well. Dr. Goel was excellent.
Arrived at 10am, left at 1:30pm because I walked out. Seen her in the past and I usually don't mind the wait but today was ridiculous.
Office was not for me. Very heavy religion focus. Also felt extremely judged from the moment I gave my reason for being there. The doctor was cold and didn't even care to get to know me before jumping to what felt like assumptions about me.
Dr Andrea was beyond excellent but the receptionists were rude and unwelcoming!
Went very well, very thorough listened to my concerns. Thank you
I was highly impressed with Dr Goel herself. She was relatable and very kind, and took quite a bit of time with me even though I could tell she was very busy. One staff member was a little short with me, but other than that this was a great experience and I will definitely return.
I was so 100% satisfied with Dr. And all who worked there.I am so happy I found thus Dr.
She is wonderful. Very caring.
The physician did a wonderful job. The facility was rather busy the day of my visit, however, that in no way inhibited the quality of treatment and care I received. Dr. Goel was very thorough and forthcoming with evidence of my diagnosis. I would definitely recommend Dr. Goel and her staff.
Fix your website so when you get a new patient it only offers services you can render to a new patient. The office is old and creepy looking too, maybe try an upgrade??? Also, when you set an appointment for 1pm you shouldn't call on someone after the appointment time, especially if the other person shows up after me. JUST RUDE!!
The office is busy, understaffed, but the nurses there are nice and it felt like I was being rushed out by the doctor herself. I can understand it's busy and I don't mind a short appointment in fact I prefer it, I just felt like as a new patient there should be a bit more time taken.
Fast and professional.
It was great!
I would not ever go back. I had an appointment and still had to wait almost two hours just to be seen for six minutes.
