Originally from Chicago, Dr. Mazzulla did her undergraduate studies at Augustana College in Rock Island. From there she moved to the city and received her optometric training at the Illinois College of Optometry.
She did internships at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, Veteran's Hospital in Walla Walla, Washington, and at the Alaska Eye Care Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. In her free time she enjoys traveling.

She is very personable and knowledgeable. She discovered that my previous eye doctor had been OVER-correcting my eyesight (for years) which was why I was getting headaches. How often do you find out that your eyesight is actually better than you thought?? :)

Had to switch eye doctors when my old Dr stopped taking my insurance. Found Dr. Mazzulla through Internet search and read reviews and she had really great reviews. Went to my appointment today and she was so laid back and made me feel comfortable. It felt like I had been going there forever. Also the lady in charge of glasses was super nice and very patient with me while I tried on about 10 pairs of glasses because I couldn't decide on a pair.

Everyone in the office was extremely welcoming. The whole process was quick which is a plus for me as I have a very busy schedule! The lady who helped me pick out new glasses was so kind and she took all the time I needed to find the perfect pair. Really great first visit today! Very professional place. I was warmly greeted and they were expecting me. I love the way they took care of the insurance for me (as this is not always been my experience with optical). Dr. Mazzulla is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They use very up to date eye exam equipment and a great selection of cool frames to choose from... but there was NO pressure for me to buy there. And a small thing that I loved was they gave me my prescription on a small laminated card to keep in my wallet! Very cool. I am definitely a long term patient and customer.

Dr. Mazzulla is very thorough, careful and proactive with her exams. She explains the examination and its' results, and welcomes questions the patient may have. Optic Gallery uses newer technologies for eye exams than I have seen in other doctor's offices, and will refer patients to a specialist if they feel further examination is necessary to rule out any potential concerns. In addition, they have a good selection of glasses, and are very easy to work with. My wife and I are happy to have discovered Dr. Mazzulla and Optic Gallery!
