About Dr. Shawn Allman

Dr. Shawn Allman is a homegrown Utah doctor, born and raised in Sandy, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in psychology and medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences and residency at the University of Florida. His training was extensive in the hospital setting which has given him a unique understanding in the expertise it takes to keep patients out of the hospital and doing what they love. Dr. Allman’s goal is to be his patients’ biggest advocate. He wants them to understand their conditions, why they occur and how to properly keep them in check. He is passionate about listening to his patients and understanding their goals of care. Dr. Allman and his wife have six children and the youngest two are twins. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, volleyball or golf.
