All Motto patients receive evidence-based care and 1:1 access to Sheila and board-certified rheumatologist and medical director, Dr. Ortiz, through our virtual clinic. Motto offers everything one would expect from a traditional rheumatology practice, plus health coaches, diet and lifestyle recommendations, and more.
We accept select major insurance plans. In addition, your appointments with Sheila and the Motto care team are included in an upfront activation fee and a monthly subscription cost. Your subscription gives you complete access to your medical providers, health coach, dietitian, app, and educational resources for the first year. There is also a cash pay option, which you can discuss with an enrollment specialist.
Once you book an appointment, an enrollment specialist will reach out to answer all your questions and help you complete the next steps. For your first appointment, you will be seen by Sheila, our nurse practitioner, and joined by Dr. Ortiz toward the end of your visit.
