About Shelley Altman

Shelley Altman has been a Registered Dietitian since 1999. She has spent most of her career working in the hospital setting where she gained valuable skills in helping people with chronic diseases. These experiences sparked a desire for her to work in the preventative medicine side of nutrition. She hopes to empower people to embrace healthy eating as a natural and fun part of their lifestyle. Shelley is a graduate of University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Texas Woman's University graduating with honors. She further her studies in graduate education earning a Master's in Integrative Medicine from The George Washington University with a magna cum laude distinction. Shelley calls Dallas, Texas home, which she shares with her husband, son, daughter, and her furry animals to include three cats and a sheltie. When Shelley is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
