Diabetes Insight and Weight Management is owned by Sherine Solomon APRN, NP-BC, CDCES. Sherine originates from the rural parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica, where her early experiences helped shape a lifelong commitment to compassionate and community-centered care.
Beginning her career as a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, Sherine later transitioned into Endocrinology, where she has served with distinction for over a decade. She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, with extensive experience in the management of Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes, as well as other complex endocrine conditions including Osteoporosis, PCOS and Thyroid Disorders.

This nurse practitioner made me feel genuinely heard and cared for. She listened attentively, explained my care plan clearly, and made sure all my questions were answered without rushing the visit.
