About Dr. Sherman Nagler
Dr. Sherman Nagler obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical residency training at Gouverneur Hospital and Cornerstone of Medical Arts Center in New York. Dr. Nagler achieved his board certification in foot and ankle surgery with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 1985.
Dr. Nagler is a teaching faculty member of the Houston Podiatric Foundation and Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency programs.
He has held many positions on hospital committees and is currently Section Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Tenet Park Plaza Hospital. He has also served on the Operating Room, Credentials, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees, as well as the Oral Examinations Committee of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Nagler is actively involved at The Methodist Hospital, Tenet Park Plaza Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Hospital.
He is a member of the Harris County Podiatry Society, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Nagler has made remarkable achievements in the field of foot and ankle surgery in Houston. As a mentor to many podiatrists in the Houston area, he is dedicated to treating various foot and ankle ailments using state-of-the-art equipment.
