Dr. Peters is a New York–based primary care physician and the founder and medical director of Bethany Medical Clinic of New York, a practice she established in 2011 to meet the unique health needs of New Yorkers. After training at New York Medical College and completing her residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, Dr. Peters gained experience in private practice outside the city—learning not only how medicine works, but how the business of healthcare can either support or undermine good patient care.
