I went in person for my intake session and she said for any follow ups she was flexible in doing in person or virtual; which is super helpful for scheduling. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Sofia if you are looking for an empathetic professional who will make you feel like you're getting more than someone checking boxes on a clipboard. ”

Thank you for reaching out! I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner currently accepting new patients.
It can be intimidating for individuals to address their mental health, and it is also extremely important. Therefore, I welcome patients with a comprehensive, patient-centered, and compassionate approach. I provide medication management and specialize in depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, disordered eating and body image, substance use disorder, and more. We can work together towards your healing and overall wellbeing!
Sofia is a Los Angeles native and received her bachelors in nursing from UCLA; she obtained her masters in nursing from Vanderbilt University with a dual-specialty in Adult-Geriatric Primary Care and Women’s Health; lastly, she received an additional post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Stony Brook University.
With a variety of specialities and experiences under her belt, she likes to take a holistic approach to care. She has experience and expertise working with a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns.

Dr Levy is so genuine and kind. She treats everyone so wonderfully. I had trouble locating my medication due to a shortage issue but she worked tirelessly to find it. If there was someone I could truly recommend it would be her.

Sofia is the first psych I’ve seen who genuinely cares. She is responsive and will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re on the right medication. I’ve dealt with judgmental and completely absent providers, but Sofia is completely opposite. It feels like the first time I’ve felt relief.

My teen daughter was seen by Sofia Levy and we liked her a lot. She was very thorough and a great listener. This was my daughter’s first time meeting with a psychiatrist and my concern was that they would diagnose her with the wrong things. I completely agree with Sofia’s diagnoses and I feel comfortable with the decisions we made together for treatment. She went through a few medications with us and discussed possible side effects. She asked if there were any side effects in particular that my daughter really wanted to avoid, like weight gain, for example. Excellent session and we highly recommend her. When we ended the session my daughter said “I really, really like her. That was the first time I’ve ever felt completely heard.”
