About Somil Mehta
Somil is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and went on to receive his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. Somil is a proud member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.
During his time at CWRU, Somil completed the majority of his clinical training, including dermatology, with the Cleveland Clinic. He also completed additional dermatology rotations at Anne Arundel Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland, where he was mentored by esteemed dermatologists, Dr. Walter Giblin, Dr. Timothy Curtin, and Dr. Stephen Krivda. Somil’s areas of expertise include treating skin cancer, hair loss, acne, eczema, psoriasis, moles, scars, warts, and overall skin wellness.
Somil has always had a passion for dermatology and is deeply committed to providing patient-centered care. I would definitely go back and recommend it to friends if the need comes up,
Very clear explanation of my issue and left the office with clear understanding that I dont have a medical condition that needs treatment or medication that counts alot to me. Very satisfying visit.

He was very nice and friendly. Got straight to the point and explained everything so clearly. I did have to wait for a while to get checked in because the front desk would take another patient before they got to my uploading my information… the front desk did apologize for the wait, but I think it’s totally okay a patient comes in to say please give me a few minutes so they can focus on the previous patient. Other than staff, staff was friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon, and hopefully I see results with his recommendations!

This was my first visit to a dermatologist, and I had a great experience. Somil was very kind, gentle, and took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire visit. I would definitely recommend him.

The visit was excellent - from the front desk check-in to the PA and finally with the doctor.
I look forward to my follow-up. They listened and we narrowed down my concerns to focus on that day, and I left with a Rx recommendation and even a resource on where I can find the Rx.

I’ve never had a better experience at a doctor’s office. The staff is so welcoming and acknowledging. I was in and out in 40 minutes tops. I was asked lots of questions regarding my issues and I was heard on each one of my concerns. The doctor is so pleasant and he provided me with great medicine and great advices. I have found the best dermatologist, professional, attentive and such a great experience overall. My issue was solved so fast with the medication I was given. I am not switching doctors ever!
