Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatry)

I'm honored to support you on your mental health journey with compassionate, client-centered care that focuses on your strengths and potential for healing. Together, we'll work toward greater balance, clarity, and overall well-being. My approach is rooted in respect, empowerment, and holistic care—treating the whole person, not just symptoms. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, bipolar and life transitions, creating a safe, stigma-free space where you feel truly heard and supported. Through education, collaboration, and empathy, I aim to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and move forward with confidence. I strive to create a calm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to be yourself—just as you are. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported, whether you're sharing something deeply personal or simply trying to make sense of a tough week. Working with me feels collaborative and empowering; I honor your experiences and work alongside you to explore what healing and growth look like on your terms. We move at a pace that feels right for you, with space for honesty, humor, and hope along the way. My journey into mental healthcare began in 2000, when I worked as a respite caregiver. That experience opened my eyes to the importance of emotional support and human connection in healing. I later became a supervisor for a program serving TANF recipients with dual diagnoses—an incredibly challenging yet rewarding role. I witnessed firsthand the power of recovery, as many mothers were able to reconnect with their children and rebuild their lives. Moments like those solidified my commitment to this work. What drives me is a deep belief that every person—regardless of diagnosis—deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Mental illness should never be a reason someone is stigmatized or devalued.
