“The wait time was good, less than 30 minutes. The appointment didn't take long; they were quick and efficient. I had no problem with the nurse practitioner. It would have been nice if the front desk staff were warm and friendly instead of acting disinterested. ”

Sothia is excellent. She was thorough and patient going through my questions. She was extremely gentle and communicative during the exam, ensuring I knew everything that was going to happen and assuring me that the exam would go at the pace I was comfortable with. She put me totally at ease and the office was very prompt with prescription/referral details. Also, I had barely any wait time, which is a rare luxury when visiting the doctor.

If you are aware of the issue that you aren't taking the insurance that Zocdoc shows you, then communicate that to your clients. I called in to make sure the appointment was in person, no one bothered to ask: "Hey, could we get some information just to confirm the appointment." No email follow-up, just the assumption for me to show up and the assumption you have my insurance. But once I show up, your receptionist acted as if I did something wrong, for you not communicating that ZocDoc is incorrectly showing you in network when you aren't. It's unprofessional, rude, and damaging to clients, the medical industry already has enough barriers to access, don't schedule clients for appointments, that aren't even actually there and when you do, the least you could do is politely apologize, since this is not MY fault, it's both your's and ZocDocs. I made the appointment, I confirmed I was showing up, and I was there on time. You had my information, it's on you, to confirm if it's accepted.

Sothia was so kind and walked through every step of the process (first gyno appt/pap smear). It was painless and she was very considerate of my concerns. I’m pursuing further testing and she took everything I said seriously/is helping me get to the root of my issues. Highly recommend her, especially for girls who are doing this for the first time.

Staff did not accept my insurance even when i called them a day prior to confirm, the rude receptionist seemed “insistent” that all anthem blue cross blue sheild insurance was covered even when i specifically stated I had an in network only plan and not a PPO. Wasted an hour to drive into the city to find parking just for them to deny. Wont do business with this provider in the future.

Sothia was amazing! I have never had a pelvic exam or pap smear before and I was terrified. She explained the procedure and equipment to me, took her time, and got my consent before every step. She made the experience as easy as possible and I’m so grateful. Also took my concerns seriously and made a game plan to treat my abnormal periods, which I was worried would be brushed off. The rest of the office/medical staff were all great as well. Can’t recommend her enough if you’re nervous about the GYN.
