We strive to provide our patients with the highest quality of psychiatric care in an atmosphere of respect, care, and compassion. This is all done in a timely, accessible way in a private practice setting that still accepts most insurances.
Now, we are proud to introduce first to South Jersey residents a state of the art, non-invasive, safe, non-medication treatment modality called TMS: TransCranial Magnetic Stimulation.
Our practice is also the first and only psychiatric practice offering IV Ketamine, Sravato(nasal Esketamine) and TMS (both regular and Deep) all under one roof in NJ.
Dr. Gowda completed his Residency in Psychiatry at Hahnemann-Drexel University, Philadelphia and has worked at the Jersey Shore since 1997. He earned his medical degree from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bengaluru, India. He’s a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is also Board certified in PsychoSomatic Medicine/Consultation Psychiatry. Additionally, he is a Member of the American Psychiatric Association and NJ Psychiatric Association.

The appointment process was a bit back and forth however I got my appointment. Dr. Gowda was very intuitive, and I am looking forward to treatment.

This man turned me away from getting any kind of help all because I lived to far to do the tms therapy. I waited a month to see this doctor for my depression and he told me he couldn't help me after I said doing the tms therapy wasn't an option for me... he wa ted me to come every day for 20 min for 36 days. Wouldn't prescribe me anything just wished me luck. Never felt more hopeless
