I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping others with their mental health needs. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. As a bedside nurse of 20 years specializing in maternal and child health, I have often cared for patients experiencing both physical and emotional trauma and anxiety. Their struggles spoke to me and opened my eyes wider to the need for compassionate care providers who can assess individuals' unique challenges and offer tailored support to begin their journey to better mental health. I believe we only get one life to live and should be able to enjoy the life and loves we have. My patients can expect a compassionate and thorough review of their past physical and mental history, along with an assessment of what is currently troubling them. I provide therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and, when appropriate, medication therapy. I am also certified to assess for and administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as a treatment for those facing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Additionally, I believe in the ability of a person to heal themselves with natural alternatives when given proper guidance and support. I am currently accepting new patients and referrals from other psychiatric providers for those appropriate for TMS therapy. We offer an environment that is comfortable, private, and handicap accessible. I look forward to meeting with you or, if you are a provider, your patients to discuss how I can help on your journey to mental wellness.

The office I had this appointment scheduled with rescheduled my appointment for a different date and time, but only changed the time. On the date of the appointment that was shown on Zocdoc, I called their office because I never received a link to join the call, and they informed me the date had been changed, and then backtracked and said they actually couldn't see my daughter because she is under the age of 16 and that they canceled it. I was never informed of any of this, and they said it must have been an issue with Zocdoc instead of taking responsibility. I made this appointment weeks in advance because of serious mental health issues my daughter is having, and I could have made other arrangements had I been informed it was being canceled.
