Dr. Bradu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology with outstanding experience in the practice of advanced Medical, Aesthetic and Surgical Dermatology.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Bradu has a solid and extensive background in a wide variety of dermatological treatments and procedures, and frequently attends advanced courses and professional meetings to offer his patients access to the most advanced dermatologic care that is available for both common and rare conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Dr. Bradu is a leading expert in the field of cosmetic dermatology, more precisely in facial analysis, modulation and optimization with procedures like Botox and fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane.
Dr. Bradu takes particular pride in teaching Clinical Dermatology to the Dermatology residents from New York University School of Medicine and Downstate Medical School, his alma mater. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at both institutions.
He has practiced Dermatology in Brooklyn, Long Island, Manhattan and Queens. His medical approach to patients was profoundly influenced by the main principle guiding health care in the hospital where he completed his Medical Internship (Winthrop Hospital, Long Island): "Care without compromise". I went in for a general consultation/acne concerns. He barely looked at my skin and recommended products that I had already said didn't work for me. Then went on to suggest I remove two small moles from my face that weren't a cancer concern, but because he thought they were unsightly. I found this unprofessional (also, this kind of procedure is a way for dermatologists to make more money and I felt like this was his reason for wanting to perform the procedures since past dermatologists never even mentioned this before).

I had a large mole removed and am quite afraid of needles, so I was worried before the procedure, but Dr Bradu set me at ease and did a great job. I didn't feel a thing. He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. I've already recommended him to my whole family.

He is very direct and straight to the point with questions you present to him, some people might take it as rushing, however I saw it as a strong knowledge of the subject matter. For some issues with my skin he had multiple types of procedures that could solve the problem I was facing, and others he knew exactly what would solve the issue. He made sure I communicated all my concerns to him so that he could answer as thoroughly as possible. He was ready and willing to examine any abnormalities I had on my skin. I will definitely come back to him and trust his diagnoses and medical advice.

time with doctor was fine but I called office 1/2 hour to be sure they were running according to schedule and was told they were close to on time. Then I was kept waiting for more than 1 hour in the waiting room and another ten minutes in the treatment room. Not a happy camper

It was my first time at Dr. Bradu's practice. I arrived early - 25 minutes early - to fill out paperwork and maybe I sat for five minutes after filling them out. The man is incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable of his profession, diagnosis and potential treatments. I was out with five minutes before my actual appointment time and in no way felt rushed.

Drs visit was great, time to be checked in would of been faster if they didnt make you fill out the paper work online and then again at the office, but i didnt mind. Staff was super friendly, so was the doctor. He made me feel comfortable because i was extremely scared of removing a mole from my head. Painless !! Big advantage he is open till late :)

When seen by the doctor it felt rushed as he had a patient waiting and was running late. The wait time in office was about an hour long. I signed for a full body exam but was not given it.

He was very knowledgeable, polite and found the best solution for my issue. Highly recommended compared to those high class dermatologists in Manhattan that just take your money and offer sub par diagnosis.
