Dr. Stephanie Gopie was born in Long Island, NY and spent most of her life in South Florida. She attended the University of Miami for her undergraduate degree in Biology and graduated with honors. She then obtained her master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. From there, she attended medical school at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Gopie completed a Junior Residency in Surgery as well as her Internal Medicine residency with FAU and has provided care for patients at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Delray Medical Center, St. Mary’s Hospital, Bethesda East and West Boca Medical Center during her medical career. She is currently credentialed and follows her patients at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She has many accomplishments, including being awarded the United States Public Health Services Award for her dedication to providing culturally competent patient care. Dr. Gopie has also been accredited with numerous publications and poster presentations throughout her career. As one of the first local graduated physicians from FAU’s College of Medicine, it’s always been her goal to serve patients in her home community. Currently accepting new patients.
