Dr. Stephanie Lubin, DPM, MS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with specialized expertise in sports medicine, injury rehabilitation, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Her academic foundation was built at Boston University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology with a minor in Kinesiology, followed by research at Harvard University in acute kidney injury. A New York Native, Dr. Lubin earned her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine before completing a rigorous surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. Her training covered elective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma care, sports injuries, pediatric deformities, and advanced minimally invasive techniques. She then served as the sole chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Lubin is passionate about sports medicine, shaped by her own background as a Division I soccer player, runner, and competitive dancer. She takes a conservative-first approach to treatment, favoring non-surgical options such as custom orthotics, physical therapy, lifestyle modifications, and regenerative medicine when appropriate. However, when surgery is necessary, she applies her extensive surgical training to deliver precise, effective outcomes with a focus on returning patients to their active lifestyles.
Dr. Lubin is known for her patient-centered, individualized care. She takes time to listen, educate, and empower her patients, ensuring they feel informed and confident in their treatment plans. My visit with Dr. Lubin was very positive. After dealing with lingering pain, she carefully evaluated my injury and discovered that the issue was a fracture from a fall back in January. It was a relief to finally understand the cause.
Dr. Lubin took the time to clearly explain the recovery process step by step, answering my questions and making sure I felt comfortable with the plan. I left the appointment feeling reassured, well-informed, and confident about my path to recovery. The office staff was warm and professional. I woud highly recommend Dr. Lubin as a great orthopedist.

My experience at Dr. Lubin's office was excellent. I was immediately shown to a room for my appointment, the nurse got a detailed history and (based on my symptoms) had imaging done right away. Dr. Lubin was clear and detailed in her explanation of my Tx options, costs, and duration, and her warm bedside manner made me feel comfortable immediately.
I left with medication in hand, a follow up appointment scheduled, and knowing the plan we'd be tackling for the next few months.

The staff is very professional but warm and receptive. The space is clean and open but could be a little more warmer in color and tone. Dr. Lubin is an amazing doctor. You can tell she cares about her patients. She if funny, friendly but knows her stuff. My feet feel so much better.

I love, love, love this office! Dr. Stephanie Lubin has an amazing bedside manner. She is cheerful, patient and kind. She takes the time to educate you on what is going on with your feet. Going to her office feels like going to an old school doctor’s office, in that you will be treated like a person, not a number. I never got the feeling like we were on a timer, yet all my needs were met in an efficient and speedy manner.
Besides Dr. Lubin, the staff is bomb as well! They are equally kind and attentive. The office is big, bright and beautiful and my favorite music plays in the waiting area (old school R&B).
I highly, highly recommend Empire Podiatry! So much so that even though my family plans on moving out of state, I will come back to Empire Podiatry for all my podiatry needs!
