Dr. Rand’s published research explores many areas, including the effective use of 3-dimensional (3D) printing for prostheses, the integration of alternative medicine into primary care, and differences in generational learning styles. She oversees the department’s 3D printing lab, with a focus on printing durable medical equipment and prostheses. Dr. Rand is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, and the New York Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
