Patient reviews for Dr. Stephen Landers
Excellent, kind hearted and very professional.
Very helpful staff & doctor.
The doctor is amazing and very helpful and an expert in his field. He makes sure he knows the entire story and prescribes accordingly.
If you’re sick, just do yourself a favor and go to an urgent care.
Straight to the problem and fix me up right. Love old technique. Great experience. Thanks Dr.
He s not rude at all, just being straight forward. No long paperwork / Q&A session, both Dr. Lander and his nurses were very professional and efficient.
Dr. Landers was rude, condescending, and unwilling to listen to what I had to say. He had no solution or next steps after my CT scans came back "clear" (I wasn't sick when I saw him). I have had sinus infections all my life and since moving to Texas have had many back to back. He instead told me I have migraines and that's my issue...migraines don't cause yellow fluid and fevers. Treating migraines with antibiotics also would not solve the issue. Instead of being willing to explore other options or refer me to an allergist he instead insisted the other doctors (my entire life) have been wrong in prescribing me antibiotics. I would not recommend seeing this doctor.
Almost no wait and I had a great experience. Dr. Landers was wonderful!!
He had a terrible bedside manner and was frankly rude and defensive. Have never had that type of experience.
We love Dr. Landers. I take my daughter to see him regularly for her ear wax suctioning and he is a lovely person and great with her. I have had a screening with him, too.
As a first time patient, the paperwork up front was reasonable and the wait was short. The consultation and exam were clear and understandably explained and the results were discussed and a course of action decided upon with my input taken into account.
I have been a patient of Dr. Landers since 2007. From the beginning I have appreciated his forthright personality. He does not waste time, yet is thorough. He makes great recommendations for non-prescription treatments. And I like using the online appointment site called Zoc Doc.
Very prompt but yet took time to converse and explain. Great and helpful experience!
The His bed size manners is horrible when he was ready to do a procedure he didn't explain it in the beginning at all just spray something in in my nose and went and got a to to tub down my nose without explaining anything 1st. And the most horrible thing was when he wrote me out a prescription I reached my hand out to receive it and he flinged it into my lap Honestly like he didn't wanna touch my hand. I will never go back to him
Horrible . I had to call him for follow ups to testing .. Two weeks passed from the time I had a CT scan and he had still not contacted me with results. He then said my tests were clear and had no suggestions for additional testing .. He was arrogant and dismissive of me..
Great doctor! Not so great with people skills.
Dr. Landers was were congenial and was quick to diagnose the issue. He anticipated my questions and provided me with all necessary information. Thank you Doctor!
Very efficient and good manner.
It went fine
I appreciate Dr. Landers approach and his care. I've seen him a few times over the last 13 years, and each time I'm able to quickly book an appointment, have a very short wait in the waiting room, and receive quality care each time. Highly recommend for ear, nose, and throat issues.
A real professional. He is frank, asks good questions, and caring.
I would give negative stars if I could! I feel mishandled. As others have stated, rude, condescending and had no clue what was wrong but knew enough to tell me not to worry about it. The attitude and shoulder shrugs and why are you here vibe made my blood boil!! And yes he left the door open on me too while I’m discussing my issue. Shot numbing pain down my nose without warning or any discussion of what I should expect. How in the heck is he on D Magazine?! Just terrible!! That’s why I didn’t have to wait long to be seen, no patients!
Great! Will go back when I have the same problem!
He was very condensing, rude and displayed mockery. Upon handing me my diagnosis papers, he tossed them at me. RUDE. He said my ears were fine, could not explain the sharp pain at all. His response was "I don't know why you have pain" with a shrug. Then began asking me about my job, in which I work for a health insurance company and asked does the company give their employees their insurance and then stated Obamacare, which i corrected him to ACA. DO NOT GO HERE. RUDE! He told me to clean my ears with Q-Tips. Anyone will tell you NOT to use it. He doesn't listen, and seemed annoyed. Now I see why he had so many available appointments. Don't waste your time.
Great doctor. Very kind and listenes to my concerns. Almost no wait time in office.
Dr. Landers comes across as old-school & no nonsense. He was thorough, asked a lot of questions and listened and I was satisfied with his treatment plan.
I had to ask multiple questions to understand regarding the issues I was facing. The doctor wasn't proactive in explaining the issues to me. He acted like a seasoned professional with "attitude".
Very professional and knowledgeable
Dr Landers was great. He seemed very knowledgeable and was easy to talk to, took his time and asked me questions instead of assuming things. Would definitely visit again.
Glad I went to see Dr. Landers. He was very encouraging and supportive; took an interest and spent time listening and questioning me.
The ZOCDOC you are a wonderful team. You have a positive and purposeful follow-up. I am proud to be a very honest patient who;s contribution to your efforts is going to change the way the medical field will be. First I recall when you said what happened when I tried to set an appointed? Think I found the answers. The front office told me that they don't take insurance with a HMO but PPO. I told them I would foot the bill. As soon as i disclosed to Doctor my infection condition, he said he cannot help me. Is this professional or something. So selective treatment and so why run the medical field like that. We want you to be our voice.
Dr Landers was wonderful! He listened patiently to my concerns and was very thorough with my exam. I would highly recommend Dr Landers to anyone!
He was great. Asked a lot of questions to make sure they support his diagnosis.
He is without a doubt knowledgeable and experienced, but a challenging communication style. A bit condescending, abrupt, not a warm and fuzzy at all. If you are able to put that aside I trust you are in good hands, but will have to overlook the personality.
He comes off a little mean, maybe even rude but I don't think he means anything by it. A very very good doctor who knows his profession like the back of his hand
Dr. Landers pretty much saved my husband from a miserable 4-day Thanksgiving. He was in a lot of pain and I would have had to take him to the emergency room if I hadn't found ZocDoc and been able to get an appointment with Dr. Landers. The doctor was extremely sympathetic and professional. He explained everything clearly and knew exactly how to help. I highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you, Dr. Landers, for saving our Thanksgiving!!!
My visit was rather uncomfortable since the moment they called my name. Very rude, didnt let me fully explain any details of my symptoms, flew pass everything and didnt seem to want to listen. My fiance also felt the same vibe. It was a long drive and waste of my time. Only thing I can say is thanks for the prescription but I didnt feel welcomed one bit.
Dr. Landers was courteous, to the point, and thorough. He made sure I understood my diagnosis and recommended a treatment plan I was comfortable with. Knowledgeable and friendly. Great visit. Great doctor.
Knowledgable, yes; but finding a good doctor is much more than knowledge alone! He seemed short in patience, abrupt in his demeanor, didn't want to hear from me, his client! I did not reschedule a follow-up visit for those main reasons! Sought a different ENT specialist.
He was nice, down to earth, took interest and attentive to my needs.
Very professional and personable
It was really good, with high professional manner. I get the complete answers for all my questions. Thank you.
Very professional and knowledgeable
Very friendly. Thorough.
Friendly and informative
Was not happy with his bedside manner.
Very professional and efficient.
