About Dr. Steven Brooks
Dr. Steven J. Brooks is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who completed his dermatology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York. Dr. Brooks is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and Fellow of American Academy of Dermatology. He is a Long Island native who received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Stony Brook, followed by his Master’s of Science degree in Bio-Medical research from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to dermatology residency, he completed family medicine training and is also Board-Certified in Family Practice. His areas of special interest include: acne, psoriasis, pediatric dermatology, telehealth, and cosmetic surgery.
