About Dr. Steven Goldberg

Steven Goldberg, MD, FACC, FACP, is a Board Certified Cardiologist and Internist, as well as ProHEALTH’s Chair of Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and completed both his internship and fellowship at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Goldberg is the former President of the Medical Staff at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and was honored as Educator of the Year. He has been listed in Castle Connolly’s Top Cardiologists in the New York Metro area every year since 2001. His expertise has been sought by United Healthcare, leading to his service on the National Physician’s Advisory Council. Dr. Goldberg has a special focus on preventive cardiology and noninvasive cardiovascular testing, including echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, stress echocardiography, carotid ultrasounds, and Holter monitors.
