Dr. Steven Sinderman is passionate about providing the best treatment for his patients in a collaborative atmosphere. He was fascinated with the function of the brain and psychology in college but was side-tracked and pursued a career in neurosurgery. After practicing in the Air Force, Dr. Sinderman returned to his interest in psychiatry. He enjoys spending time outdoors.

I was nervous about booking and seeing a new provider . The office was incredibly professional and helpful. They reached out prior to make sure things were ready for appt. The Doctor was fantastic and asked great questions to get good background and also I felt I was participating in my own treatment plan decisions and that felt empowering.

Had a good experience. I prefer women over men when it comes to my mental health and personal life, just my opinion, they are easier to talk to. The psychiatrist was great and definitely knowledgeable, but not my type. Make sure you try out a few before sticking to one person.

I was hoping a psychiatrist would be more professional or insightful than counselors and psychologists I had seen before. He spent the whole session asking me questions I already filled out in the pre appointment screening; all he told me was that I could try new medication or see someone else for talk therapy, so no insight to my problem that I didn't already know. Overall, I saw no reason to see him over my regular doctor in combination with an ordinary counselor, and I felt like I just wasted my time entirely.
