About Dr. Steven Suastegui
Originally working as a Firefighter/Paramedic, after years of dedicated service, Dr. Suastegui embarked on an educational odyssey. He would go on to completed his medical education at Trinity School of Medicine and later excelling in the Geisinger Internal Medicine Residency in Pennsylvania. With his solid foundation in internal medicine, he earned the leadership role as Chief Resident where he was able to foster a collaborative and empathetic environment, crucial for a successful medical practice. Moreover, his focus to professional endeavors on the intricate realm of substance abuse, lead him to his training at the UF Addiction Medicine Fellowship. He would go on to be the Assistant Medical Director at Broward Addiction and Recovery where he has an unyielding commitment to community welfare and holistic healthcare; bring cutting-edge treatments to empower our patients to live their best lives in any stage on their health.

I highly recommend Dr. Steven. He strikes the perfect balance between personable and professional, creating an environment that is both comfortable and confidence-inspiring. From the moment you arrive, you feel heard and respected.
Each visit is thorough and thoughtfully conducted. Dr. Steven takes the time to carefully evaluate concerns, explain his findings clearly, and walk through his recommendations and treatment options in a way that is easy to understand. He never rushes the conversation and ensures that all questions are fully addressed.

I had a very positive experience during my visit. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which helped me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was genuinely impressed by how thoroughly the doctor approached my care taking the time to understand my full medical history and showing a level of attention and concern that’s increasingly rare.
I’m sure it was no small task, but he handled it with professionalism and care. For now, he has earned my trust, and as anyone navigating healthcare knows, finding a provider you feel confident in is no small feat.
I also appreciated how clearly he explained the tests being ordered and the reasons behind them. Finally, being able to receive care over the weekend was incredibly convenient and allowed me to avoid missing work, something I truly value.
Overall, a great experience that exceeded my expectations.

If you are looking for a doctor that can see you same day and listen to you patiently, this is it! I needed to see a provider and his office picked up my appointment and he solved and clarified my concerns right away. Very straight forward and didn’t make me waste time with unnecessary treatment. Highly recommended.

First time I’ve gone to a doctors visit and didn’t feel like I was on the doctors time. He asked me questions about my life style, health regiment and did a very thorough evaluation. He was very personable and made me feel like I was talking to a friend more then a scientist. In the end he help me solve a chronic health issue I was having that 3 other doctors just waved off.
