DO NOT RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY FOR ATHLETES or POCs. I came in for a surgery consultation for my torn achilles. I could tell immediately the Dr wasnt very interested in what I had to say and clearly didn’t read anything on my chart or prescreening questions. He had no idea I had already had a previous surgery, which again was required to disclose and dictated. He gave me a basic rundown of information I already knew, barely touched me and in less than five minutes, sent me away for TWO WEEKS with no advice or change of action. After 2 weeks, any procedure becomes more complicated. He even proposed a non-surgical approach, which is a widely agreed and not recommended for high performing athletes. The point of surgery is full recovery and security, not management and chronic lameness.
I booked a second opinion with a different office and doctor and I got a confirmation for my much needed surgery the SAME DAY. What does that say.

This physician explained my diagnosis in a friendly and thorough manner. He had a very pleasant bed side manner and actually looked at me while talking to me. He did not rush through this appointment. Most physicians are so rushed there that you can feel their tension to get to the next patient!

It would've been helpful to been told a head of surgery to get a knee scooter so that I didn't have to scramble after surgery to obtain one. I think being more proactive with surgery patients would be helpful.

Wonderful experience with this orthopedic dr and staff. However the. City MD that sent me to him was abysmal. I'm not sure if they were also "Summit". My positive answers are just for Dr Weinfeld.

The office is new and clean. Front end staff was warm and cordial. The doctor was thorough and suggested orthotics. He was unsure of why I have knee pain and made referral to another provider.

Dr. Weinfeld was knowledgeable and professional. He got right to the heart of the matter and provided clear advice. The office had all the necessary x-ray equipment and the operator did a great job. Very good experience.

Was promptly taken for X-ray, then to see the doctor. As it was the initial visit not much was expected. The doctor himself was very nice, clear on the next steps.
