Dr. Horowitz is fantastic. He takes the time to talk with you and explains everything in detail. I would recommend him anytime. His staff however is awful. I waited for more than two hours, and no one seemed to care. At the end of my appointment a lady came in that was supposed to take and send my prescription to the pharmacy, entered the room and gave Dr. Horowitz an attitude. She never even looked at me, didn't acknowledge me, didn't say a word to me other than "what pharmacy" and worst she never sent my prescription to the pharmacy which I needed because I was traveling the next day. Lady, a simple "Thank you for your visit, I hope you feel better" goes a long way.

I waited for a long time but because I really wasn't feeling well I wasn't in any hurry, I just wanted relief. Dr. Horowitz was very fast and thought everything through, asking many in-depth questions to get to the bottom of how I was feeling. His nurses (?) were very understanding and reacted well to my nervousness of needles and anxiety over not knowing what was making me sick. They got me into a cat scan facility that same afternoon, and Dr. Horowitz called me while I was there to discuss the results of the scan. I wouldn't go back to his office for a regular check up due to the wait, but it was a great experience as an alternative to the ER. They had a lot of equipment and tests etc that urgent care places don't usually have that make them have to refer patients to the ER. Plus, I'm sure I waited much less than I would have at the ER anyway.
