Dr. Stuart Tasman has been in private practice since 1980. Dr. Tasman earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 1974, his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1980, and his Therapeutic Drug Certification from the University of Houston. He completed internship training in primary vision care in Athens, Tennessee and Doctor’s Memorial Hospital before beginning his private practice in Acworth. Dr. Tasman has served all the chairs of the Greater Atlanta and Georgia Optometric Associations., is past president of the Woodstock Rotary Club, and is currently active in both the American and Georgia Optometric Associations. Stuart, his wife Mary, and their two children, Erin and Shelley, reside in Marietta.
