I obtained my medical degree from University of Istanbul Medical School. I completed my Psychiatry Specialization at Case Western Reserve University.
I was the chief resident of the inpatient units at Harvard Medical School. I have held positions at Western State Hospital, Good Samaritan Behavioral Health and Navos Mental Health.
I was a pediatric neurosurgeon previously and have vast experience working abroad in the international medical communities of Canada, Japan, Germany, France and Australia. I am fluent in English, German, French and Turkish.
Providing treatment tailored to the unique needs of each patient, I believe in compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.
Spending time with family and friends, traveling, enjoying outdoors of our Pacific Northwest.

I’ve been with life stance for a couple years now I think. I’ve had different doctors, but I’ve got to say that Sule Karakas is the best. She is so personable and funny and likable. She doesn’t make you feel like you’re just an imposition. The others have.
When I Signed up for my new insurance it was Based around whether they accept Sule or not or she accepted them, vice versa.
I absolutely love her.
