About Dr. Sulman Hasan

Dr. Sulman Hasan joined Rheumatology Associates in 2025. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Hasan received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University and then went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Oakhill Hospital/USF affiliate in Brooksville, Florida. He then completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Dr. Hasan has been practicing rheumatology since 2021 and is experienced in treating challenging diseases like RA, SLE, psoriatic arthritis, gout, sarcoidosis, and more. At LSU, Dr. Hasan conducted research and was trained by a world-renowned ACR Master as well as a pediatric rheumatologist. He believes in treating his patients using evidence-based and cost-effective medicine. Dr. Hasan practices medicine with compassion and a patient-centered approach.
