I am a certified physician assistant with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from South College and a background in cognitive neuroscience and group counseling on topics including substance use and emotional regulation. My focus in psychiatry centers on addiction medicine and mood disorders. I believe each treatment plan should be tailored to the individual. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based psychiatric treatments with a strong emphasis on lifestyle factors such as nutrition, exercise, and sleep. I encourage my patients to actively participate in their well-being journey, fostering empowerment and self-discovery.

I’ve been going to a psychiatrist office since I was a teen. The level of service that Summer provides is outstanding. The staff has created a comfortable and safe vibe. I don’t actually dread going into this office.

This is the only provider that was able to get me an appointment right away. The scheduling is so flexible I didn’t have to wait months for an opening. Summer was very attentive and was able to listen to my medication concerns. They offer so much that I will be going to do the other services as well.
