About Dr. Sundeep Gidugu
Sundeep Gidugu, DO, MPH, is a family medicine physician with Atlantic Health. Board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, Dr. Gidugu offers preventive and general health care for individuals and families. He diagnoses and treats a wide range of acute (sudden) illnesses and injuries, as well as chronic (long-lasting) conditions. As a partner to people in all stages of life, Dr. Gidugu blends traditional medicine with holistic care to address all aspects of his patients’ health and wellbeing.
Keeping in line with his passion for holistic medicine, Dr. Gidugu is trained in the art of osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), which he uses as a non-surgical tool to assist patients with various musculoskeletal ailments. Dr. Gidugu prides himself on working with his patients holistically to improve their overall lifestyle and quality of life with an emphasis on preventive health.
Dr. Gidugu earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. Prior to joining Atlantic Health, he completed a family medicine residency at Inspira Health in Vineland, New Jersey, where he served as chief resident in his final year. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Gidugu pursued an interest in public health, completing his Master’s of Public Health at Rutgers School of Public Health with an emphasis on health education, behavioral science, and health systems and policy. As a coordinator for several public health organizations, he advocated for improved access to health care for underserved populations in communities across New Jersey.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Gidugu has conducted research focused on clinical innovations, safety and quality improvement in health care. He has written various abstracts and has served as an investigator for local health committees in Vineland, New Jersey.

10/10 would recommend Dr. G to anyone. We sat down and talked about everything that was going on. Explained everything that was going on with my blood work. Wrote out a care plan and explained everything step by step. I was dealing with my health concern for a month now and he was the only doctor that I’ve seen that listened and wanted to find the root of the problem. Absolutely phenomenal experience start to finish. The wait time was non existent, the staff was very friendly, the office is very clean and in a very convenient location. Dr. G will be my go to doctor moving forward, incredibly friendly, professional, great smile and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain medical concepts to patients instead of rushing you through the appointment.

Dr Gidugu is an excellent physician. First appointment office staff friendly and helpful. The technician that check me in and did the preliminaries was friendly and calming. When the Dr arrived he listened to my concerns took notes. He examined me. He then took some tests and presented a plan that would help me to begin to gain my health back. I am currently following our course of treatment and feeling better. I am so glad I found Dr G. He is now my PCP and I look forward to a great medical relationship with him.
