I have been practicing for more than 4 years and have been a nurse for more than 13 years, with a wide range of expertise in mental health and clinical experiences in the psychiatric emergency department and primary health care. I have worked with clients of all kinds, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, ADHD, and other mental health illnesses. My approach My approach depends on a case-by-case presentation. I use evidenced-based practice techniques including a broad spectrum of mental health issues. My clinical plan and assessment are based on the diagnoses, and talk therapies of different modalities like CBT, interpersonal and psychoanalytical approaches. My focus My education and experiences have helped me to work with clients of all ages and mental illnesses. I mostly work with clients suffering from ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, schizophrenia spectrum, and ASD. I have helped clients navigate through this path and transitioned to a stable and better functioning and quality of life. My communication style I am a good listener, so I engage in an honest and transparent conversation that will enhance trust between me and my clients. I also make sure there is a shared decision-making at the end of every session. My journey to mental healthcare My journey in becoming a Mental health Provider stems back to when I lost my job as a process engineering technician in 2008, during the Great Recession. I was unemployed for a while, financial difficulties and life challenges. I decided to do something that would help people in need and sustain a living for my family.
