About Dr. Surbhi Gupta
Dr. Surbhi Gupta is a rheumatologist and internist who will be joining Rheumatology Associates in 2023. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Her special interests include osteoarthritis, crystalline arthritis, and spondyloarthropathies.
Dr. Gupta earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. First appointment with the Dr. Gupta went well. I was running a bit behind schedule so we had to go fast but she was still very through, and I left with a plan in place that I felt comfortable with. She listened to my concerns and I love that the lab and X-rays were located just down the hall. X-ray wait time was a bit more than I expected, but the staff was friendly, and everyone was thorough.

I don’t usually write reviews but I would def recommend Dr. Gupta. She is very knowledgeable and ease you with the treatment plan. After my tests for autoimmune came positive from my annual exam I was very stressed and all the rheumatologist appointments were not until 4-5 months. I got lucky to get in quick with Dr. Gupta. My appt was at 2 and I was taken in right on time. She walked with me step by step, explained me exactly what’s happening. She was quick about putting referrals for all other specialists I would need for the course of the treatment, ordered intensive testing I require. And everyone was so comforting and nice and very professional about it. I went in very nervous and came back very positive about the treatment plan. We need more doctors like her.
