Conditions that I treat: anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, and mood disorders, as well as substance use disorders. I strive to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and nonjudgmental—where patients can bring their full selves without fear of being dismissed or misunderstood. My tone is calm, curious, and compassionate, with a focus on collaboration rather than authority. Patients often describe our sessions as both structured and freeing—they know there’s a direction, but they also feel heard and in control of the process. I bring warmth and clinical clarity, balancing empathy with evidence-based care. My goal is to help people feel seen, supported, and steadily empowered to understand and reshape their experiences. I had a family member struggle with depression - she felt stigmatized and didn’t accept her diagnosis. After a lot of persuasion, she agreed to seek care, and it was fulfilling to see her go back to her normal self & fulfill her roles as a wife, mother & teacher. Mental health struggles are incredibly common, yet often misunderstood, which can leave people feeling isolated or hopeless. I’m driven by the opportunity to change that—to provide a space where people can not only heal but grow stronger through their challenges. What keeps me passionate is the incredible resilience I see in my patients.
