About Susanne Ramey
Susanne Ramey, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner at Kelsey-Seybold. She completed her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing at the Joe G. Davis School of Vocational Nursing in Huntsville, Texas, in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008 from Prairie View A&M University in Houston. In 2012, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Before joining Kelsey-Seybold as a family nurse practitioner, Susanne worked as a nurse practitioner in private practice and as a registered nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Susanne was inspired to become a nurse while visiting her grandmother in a nursing home. She wanted to do more to help her grandmother, and her interest in nursing blossomed. While in nursing school, one of her instructors inspired her to continue her education. From that point, she knew helping people was her passion in life.
Susanne treats a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses. Her clinical interests include diabetes, particularly Type 1 diabetes, as well as treating headaches and heart disease.
