As a Chinese immigrant, Susy brings with her the tradition of Chinese spiritual philosophy and nutritional principles, while her competitive dance experiences grounded her in proper body kinetics and structural alignment. She is able to integrate and bridge various cultures from traditional Chinese Medicine and Western biomedicine. Susy earned her Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. She completed a two-year apprenticeship assisting her mentor, Dr. Yong En Shi, a gynecologist and renowned Chinese herbalist with over 60 years of clinical experience, learning valuable skills in treating complex issues with herbal medicine and acupuncture. As a practitioner, Susy is known for her caring manners, palpation skills, needling technique, professionalism, intuitive approach, and grounding presence.
