Hello,
I am Dr. Saur. You have reasons to seek out mental health treatment. You may feel nervous about this, having doubts and suspicions concerning treatment. Past experiences may have left you feeling frustrated, but you now have found the courage to try treatment again. I am here to listen to your story and help you.
My 20 years of professional medical experience include outpatient care and inpatient care; including both general hospital and mental health facilities. Having been trained and employed by McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, I learned a great deal about a wide variety of mental health conditions and their treatments.
I have earned two master's degrees and one doctorate (Ph.D.). My first master's degree is in pharmacology which has given me a thorough understanding of medications. My doctorate is in neurobiology/neurophysics. At Harvard Medical School, I conducted research within the fields of neuroscience, neuropharmacology (particularly receptor pharmacology and transporter pharmacology), neurogenetics and neuropsychiatry. From this experience, I have 13 peer-reviewed articles published.

Clinical Experience:
20 years of medical experience. Including inpatient, outpatient, general hospital and psychiatric hospital settings.
Worked and trained within seven different units at McLean Hospital over a course of four years.
Worked for ten years in multiple units within a general hospital.
Well versed in treating patients with a variety of mental illnesses listed below as well as other mental illnesses.
Other experience:
Researcher at Harvard Medical School, studied areas of neurobiology, neuropharmacology, neuropsychiatry, neurogenetics, neurophysics.

Dr Saur (pronounced “Sour”) is incredibly compassionate and thorough. I just moved to MA and needed a new provider to fill my meds, and instead of just refilling with no question (as most do) she made sure to talk with me about my already established prescriptions and ensure that I do actually need them and that I get the proper testing done to make sure there are no hidden side effects. She was upfront about having an accent that is sometimes hard for people to understand but it didn’t prevent me from understanding her and I felt that our communication was very clear.She is clearly a well-educated provider that genuinely cares for her patients.

Dr. Saur was incredible. She was professional, kind, and a great listener. I scheduled an appointment with her for an ADHD evaluation and I was seen the same day. She listened to all my concerns and did not cast any judgment. She showed genuine concern for my wellbeing and made sure the medication she prescribed fit with my medical history. She also requested to connect with my neurologist to collaborate regarding any future medication increases, to be sure it was the right decision for me. I can't recommend her enough.
