About Taj Richardson
Taj is a board-certified physician assistant, specializing in dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Howard University. Taj continued her education receiving her Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Medicine from the University of Tampa. She is a member of Pi Alpha – National Physician Assistant Honor Society and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates. Taj is currently enrolled in the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates Diplomate Fellowship Program.

Had a great experience for my very first dermatologist appointment. I was greeted promptly upon arrival. Taken back for my appointment relatively quickly. I wish I could put zero stars, the wait area staff were kind. But the doctor and I think her apprentice seemed like they didn’t care for me at all. It was a very rushed interaction. I made sure I went to a black dermatologist for my issues, but it didn’t matter. I had a terrible experience. There was no discussion, there was no getting to know the patient. I would just say don’t come here if you actually want to feel cared about by your doctor.

Have you ever had an appointment where the provider is just staring at you?
She could’ve my even answer my questions. I’m a biologist so i know how chemicals and the body works but i needed more information on my specific issue and she couldn’t even provide basic answers. lots of awkward silence. she just came in greeted me and immediately said what she’s prescribing me. never seeing me again! don’t waste ur 15 bucks. then she misinformed me about my insurance coverage. overall capital NO for me
