Just not a good doctor. Doesn't listen, you have to repeat things constantly. Short appointment for initial appointment.

Dr. Wassef was very helpful and a good listener. His office is responsive to phone calls. I would recommend this doctor.
beyond unorganized its actually just absurd, every single appointment I have made has been rescheduled more than once.
Very professional. Felt very comfortable talking to him. And the people at the front window were very courteous.

First time seeing a psychiatrist. My experience was very pleasant. I was very happy with my visit.

He doesn't even have patience to listen to patient views. I am disappointed completely.
I loved the virtual visit and the APN is a great listener, attentive and caring.

The wait was short, by the time I finished my paper work the doctor called me in.
I was visited by Kazeem Olajide, and my experience with him was excellent.

During my appointment, I felt consistently unheard and talked over. I had to repeat myself multiple times for my concerns to be acknowledged. For example, I clearly explained why I left a previous job, yet later in the appointment the provider stated that my mental health should not be affecting my work life. When I corrected him and reiterated that I did not leave the job for mental health reasons, he briefly acknowledged it without any apology or reflection. Throughout the visit, he frequently interrupted me, which made it difficult to communicate my concerns and left me feeling disrespected as a patient. I also found the appointment unhelpful overall. I left the appointment without receiving meaningful guidance, support, or individualized care. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider to patients seeking attentive, respectful, or patient-centered psychiatric care.

Overall appointment was okay, I m not pleased with being prescribed with a medication that didn't work for me and I have had serious side effects from in the past.

Website desc did not state that appt was for medication management only. 45 min appt for “evaluation “ lasted 20 mins before Dr Wasseff’s underling referred me to Suicide Prevention Hotline . It took a lot to reach out for help (obviously not suicidal otherwise I wouldn’t be starting my trek to feel better). As a result, I will NEVER use so doc again. I’m sure Medicaid will be billed full amount for 1/2 an appt. Complete SCAM !!

Very good Dr. I will go back anytime.

The Doc was highly interested in my history and what I had to say, without dismissing my thoughts and concerns. He then had a tailor fit recovery plan of action to my symptoms, as opposed to most Dr's just treating you with a standard blanket medication program.
I really feel I was treated as if my opinions mattered to dr. He mad me feel at ease with his suggestions and guidance as to what medication he thought was best for my MDD. I was comfortable there and I appreciate his service as well, his office manager was very sweet and kind to me and made me feel comfortable also, I’m glad I was the patient for once.
I have seen a lot of therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists etc so I could Call myself an expert. Dr. Wassef is the only one I have been able to stick with. I look forward to our appointments and feel he really cares about me. Plus, I'm doing much better. Dr. Wassef is the perfect balance of knowledge & academic with kind, warm, compassionate understanding. His knowledge of the research on medications is impressive. he is down to earth and easy to talk to. Strongly recommend him.
Great initial visit with Dr Wassef. I think his office is the most busy office in the whole block. We had a good conversation and discussed the right next steps for me. He's clearly well-qualified in his field, and I felt totally comfortable speaking with him. He has very flexible appointment times. Recommend.
This is a poorly run operation and the doctor is something of a bully. He definitely puts his interests ahead of the patient. Recommend: AVOID
he was great, minus a hiccup with figuring out my insurance that out of both of our control, the visit was really good. I would highly recommend.
Terrible. He categorizes you as a drug seeker the minute you walk in and whatever meds you're one from previous doctor , he will try and change it first visit. He doesn't care about ur mental health and well-being. Just wants to prescribe you "non-addictive" drugs.
What a wonderful , kind, understanding, and smart man Dr. Wassef is! My first appointment with him went so great that I can't wait to see him again!
Great first visit.
Dr Wassef is great... no complaints.
The waiting room was a nightmare (in East Brunswick). Even though I filled out all my information online (ZocDoc), I still had to write everything again, and some of the pages they gave me weren't printed properly (which is funny, since they tell you to sign the page and it says make sure you understand and read this properly!). The lady secretary was rude and inattentive. She was also asking for personal information out loud while other people were in the room. The bathroom was dirty and not functioning properly, and the secretary did not seem to care after we let her know. The doctor on the other hand was pretty nice, but doesn't let you talk a lot (he probably wants to get straight to the point). Overall, I would not recommend going to see this doctor.
This is my second psychiatrist and so far so good! Dr. Wassef took the time to explain everything to me and the treatment plan going forward. He was also very willing to answer any questions I had with thoughtful and informative answers which was what I was looking for!
My appointment with Dr. Wassef went well. I was very comfortable talking to him and felt that he was really listening to me. I did not feel rushed at all. I left his office very pleased.
One of the best! Very empathetic and helpful
The staff is very nice and friendly and the most important thing is Dr. Tamer is very knowledgeable and understand. I already pre booked my next appointment.
Dr. Wassef is a very laid back and personable practitioner. He is very attentive and professional. He seemed to be able to determine my needs in the shorter time we had and he seemed professional and knowledgeable. The practice is very busy but he listened to my needs and acted accordingly.
I was quite pleased with my visit overall, but I would've preferred not to be kept waiting past the time of our appointment to be seen.
Dr. Wassef was fine for my needs, though pretty perfunctory. He is definitely knowledgeable and not lacking in empathy, but he did not spend much time getting to know me (under 15 minutes). When I had a follow-up a very short time later, he didn't remember anything about our last conversation or when I had seen him. It feels like his style is to categorize and prescribe as quickly as possible--luckily, that's all I really needed. But if you are looking for a more in-depth conversation along with a prescription, this might not be your guy.
Wait time was a little long but everyone in the office was very nice and extremely helpful. They followed up to make sure I remembered my appointment which was very helpful. Bedside manner was very good.
A positive and successful experience, as with many times before this. The doctor and the staff are very professional, I would recommend to anyone seeking the same treatment or anything else the doctor specializes in.
Opened a new office 3 weeks ago to see more patients. I was seen right away. Has a friendly secretary to greet patients. Hope my visits continue to be this good. Doctor is very computer savy.
Nice atmosphere. Kind people
Everybody helpful. They great.
