Dr. Dawson is a trusted and dependable sports medicine specialist and family physician serving the community of Indianapolis, IN. She attended medical school at Indiana University in Indianapolis, where she also completed her internship and residency. She then finished her fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the same institution. Dr. Dawson is a part of IU Health Physicians. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and completed her fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine

My January appointment with Dr. Dawson started with a short wait in the waiting room followed by a very personable medical assistant showing me to an examination room and taking my vital signs. After waiting approximately 10 minutes, Dr. Dawson entered. The conversation was cordial and informative. Dr. Dawson is very personable and professional. The exam lasted approximately 30 minutes. The attempted blood draw did not go as planned.

I recently moved from out of state and needed a new primary care doctor. I did a ton of research and had it narrowed down to 3 providers. Dr. Dawson was the first- and then last- one that I saw. The office staff was very friendly and Dr. Dawson has awesome bedside manor. I've had the same PCP my entire life so I was nervous about finding a new one. She immediately put me at ease and was very personable yet professional. Our appointment was short and simple, as I don't have many medical needs but I feel confident with her managing any issues I may come across in the future. I'm glad I found Dr. Dawson and would definitely recommend her.

This was the best experience we have ever experienced when visiting the doctor. My two boys and I were all seen together, and were out the door one hour exactly after we had arrived!
