After working in various settings, she learned that many people experience mental health challenges. This led her to return to school at Liberty University, where she earned her Post Master's education as a PMHNP. Tamiqua possesses an extended history of patient care and provides an open relaxed atmosphere allowing her patients to feel heard and included. MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.
