She even went above and beyond and provided a cheat sheet for new moms that I can reference when needed. She gave us pictures of our ultrasound and took a video on our phone so we can see the heartbeat. She is a wonderful doctor and I am looking forward to having her by my side during this new journey.”

About Tammy Mahaney
Dr. Mahaney is passionate about health and healing for all people, focusing on holistic-integrative health. She earned her Doctorate in Family Health Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, leading national forces in healthcare settings. She has also received certification in the Advance Course with the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM). Dr. Mahaney has over 20 years of extensive nursing experience ranging from Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, Cardiology, Telemetry, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). She worked in Los Angeles as the Gamma Knife Nurse, collaborating with a specialized team of world-renowned neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, physicists, and radiation oncologists to help patients with brain tumors.
Dedicated to building communities, Dr. Mahaney volunteers in women's health clinics in Las Vegas, NV, and Oakland, CA, focusing on empowering and educating underserved minority women. She has also taken this zeal for medical service into global health medical mission work in Nicaragua, Tanzania, Vanuatu, El Salvador, and Ecuador.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Mahaney homeschooled her six children and taught classes to her children and other families for 20 years. She and her husband volunteer as music teachers at an adult special needs facility their oldest son attends, and her family volunteers together at Shelter Inc., cooking and serving families transitioning from homelessness.

Dr Mahaney instantly made me feel comfortable and assured me that I could talk to her about anything in a very safe and non invasive way. She listened and provided great resources for me to research and seek continued care on my own as well. She removed all of the awkwardness of these appointments and I felt comfortable sharing personal information. She was patient and did not make me feel rushed or like she was just trying to get me in and out quickly. I highly recommend her!

All the stars beneath a moonlit sky would not be enough to give Dr. Tammy Mahaney from Bella Primary Care. She is everything you would want from a primary doctor and so much more. Appointments are never rushed or performed in a hastily manner. She spends time to explain diagnoses and treatments thoroughly and never speaks in an arrogant way or with a condescending tone. She is thorough, compassionate, caring, insanely knowledgeable and dedicated to her craft. Her method of care is holistic and effective. Most importantly, she recognizes and values the dignity that resides inside you. You are not treated as a faceless patient or merely a number to add to a statistic, but rather as a human being with the utmost value and respect. All of these aspects separate her from the rest.
