Welcome! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. Prioritizing mental health is essential for happiness and stability in life. Reaching out for support is a courageous step. I’m here to walk alongside you. I work with adults experiencing various mental health challenges, providing personalized care that combines evidence-based treatment with genuine connection. My approach My approach combines psychiatric evaluation, careful medication management, and supportive, goal-oriented conversation. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to participate in your care actively. My focus I primarily work with adult patients in an outpatient psychiatric setting, many of whom present with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions. I am most comfortable treating depression, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, adult ADHD (with neuropsychologist report sent from the provider directly), and various other mood and psychosis disorders, using a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that integrates medication management with psychoeducation and supportive therapy. I value creating a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment that empowers patients to engage in their care and make meaningful progress. My communication style I create a grounded, compassionate environment where patients feel safe, respected, and understood. My approach is direct and supportive. I communicate clearly while providing education that helps patients understand their symptoms and treatment options. Patients often describe working with me as collaborative and empowering, with a focus on thoughtful care and meaningful progress. My journey to mental healthcare Nursing was not my first career, but it’s where I found the greatest sense of purpose and alignment with my values.

Tara is very attentive & listens to my concerns. I feel as though I can get through this rough patch with her as my provider. She doesn’t make you feel like your session is being rushed as I’ve felt with other providers in the past. I can feel her compassion & how much she cares through my laptop or phone. I feel very confident with the care I am receiving with her & trust her 100%.
