About Taylor Canepa
Taylor is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. She received her undergraduate degree, studying human development and graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Virginia Tech. Taylor continued her education receiving a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates and is completing her SDPA Dermatology Fellowship. Taylor is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Maryland Association of Dermatology Physician Associates, and the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants.
Taylor began her career as a physician associate in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before transitioning to dermatology in 2025. She completed a dermatology rotation while in graduate school and discovered her passion for dermatology. Taylor enjoys treating acne and atopic dermatitis, along with detection, prevention and treatment of skin cancer. Having dealt with acne and atopic dermatitis herself, she understands how deeply dermatologic conditions can affect patients both physically and mentally. Taylor’s guiding values include respect, kindness, and integrity, all of which are important to her when treating each patient. She is motivated by her desire to help her patients look and feel their best.

The entire staff was very professional and understanding regarding extenuating circumstances regarding the situation. They bent over backwards to make the appointment easy and it was very effective toward the desired goal! Amazing .... Thank you for everything!

Nice, clean office with friendly staff. I was able to schedule my appointment on Zocdoc and be seen fairly fast. Especially for dermatology. Taylor Canepa PA was very professional and did not make me wait forever. I plan to follow up with her in 1 year for my skin check. I would recommend this office to all of my friends and family.

My NP was excellent. Not the friendliest receptionists. I heard this before coming but I didn't imagine it would be that bad. I felt like I was bothering them just to do their job. Rude, no direct eye contact and not a please or thank you. Your medial team seems good but the front desk makes you not want to wait to see one.

Taylor Allen was very polite and listened to my concerns. She provided me with options of treatment. She performed the procedures i was having done in a gentle manner and told me what I was to expect next. Did a great job.

I would absolutely go back to Anne Arundel Dermatology, no time was wasted calling me back to start my visit. Dr. Allen came into the examination room a minute or two after I was called back. Dr. Taylor Allen was nice and attentive. Very pleased with my visit!!
