Dr. Terry-Ann Adjmul-Hislop earned her PhD in International Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with both pediatric and adult populations, domestically and internationally. Dr. Adjmul-Hislop organizes and conducts positive parenting seminars and psychosocial workshops. She has worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, behavioral problems, trauma, adjustment disorders, depression, and anxiety.
Dr. Adjmul-Hislop can assist you in better understanding your strengths and weaknesses, developing insight and coping skills, and navigating challenges that may be impeding your life and goals. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and utilizes empirically based approaches. It would be her pleasure to help you!
What should a new client know about working with you?
After the first session, you will be able to determine if I am a right fit for you. We will get to know each other and set treatment goals and expectations. After several weeks of working together, you should have developed better coping skills to manage your symptoms and should have accomplished some goals and working towards other goals.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
