Dr. Al-Khateeb obtained his medical degree from Mu’tah University in Karak, Jordan, and underwent medical training in both Jordan and the University of Florida. He is board-certified through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a licensed provider in California, North Carolina and South Carolina. Dr. Al-Khateeb provides tele-medicine services, both medication management and individual therapy and currently welcoming new patients. He is experienced working with adult patients of diverse ages and backgrounds in outpatient settings and is well-versed in the use of tele-psychiatry technologies, including video conferencing and secure messaging. He enjoys building strong, trust-based relationships with patients and is passionate about patient-centered care, along with encouraging patients to optimize their overall health and well-being through adopting and implementing healthy lifestyle interventions.
