About Dr. Theresa Dember-Neal
Theresa is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Health and Science and a Registered Nurse trained at Farmingdale State College. She is a licensed registered and NCCAOM-certified Acupuncturist who grew up on Long Island. Theresa is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal wellness at any stage of life. She specializes in pain, dis-ease due to stress, and menstrual disorders. She also offers facial rejuvenation using acupuncture, microneedling, and herbs. With over 30 years in the healthcare field, Theresa brings extensive experience to her practice.
Theresa has provided Chinese Medicine lectures and Reiki demonstrations to students in Nursing and Anthropology courses at a local college. Having faced health issues as a child, she was introduced early to both conventional and alternative therapies, including Chinese medicine. This exposure sparked her strong curiosity about the functions of the human body, deepening her interest in Chinese medicine and guiding her educational goals.
As a teenager, Theresa witnessed a middle-aged family member suffering from severe pain and difficulty walking due to a prolapsed bladder. Although surgery was the only option offered by physicians at that time, this person experienced a dramatic improvement through the sole use of Chinese medicine. She maintained normal bladder function well into her 80s without the pain she had previously endured.

I was very impressed with Dr. Neal! She is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. She asked thorough questions about my medical history, the reason for my visit, and what outcomes I could expect. She addressed my concerns clearly and professionally. I am new to acupuncture, but she made sure I was comfortable and explained each step of the treatment along the way. I barely felt a pinch! Dr. Theresa was wonderful, as always - extremely helpful. Theresa is a gifted acupuncturist - knowledgeable and experienced as a practioner of both Eastern and Western medicine She attentively listens to all medical updates and symptoms, adjusting treatment plans in response to patient needs. As a bonus, I left the office with related PT exercise videos that address and support my present condition already on my phone - sent by Theresa as I rested under the stars in one of her treatment rooms. I highly recommend Dr. Theresa to anyone seeking acupuncture from a highly qualified and responsive practioner.

This has been by far one of the best experiences I have had yet. I was very nervous about doing this. She was very professional and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. My appointments are punctual and you can tell she really cares about her patients. My sessions are always adjusted to my needs for the week. She is able to assist with natural ways to relieve my mental and physical issues with accupincture as well as vitamins! She's a 10 would reccomend!!
