Dr. Carr is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and then attended Loyola University in his hometown of Chicago, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Carr completed his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in 1999 and then joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin. Dr. Carr is board-certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has served as the President and Managing Partner of Pediatric Associates of Franklin since 2001. He is deeply entrenched in community healthcare, volunteering on numerous hospital boards and medical committees, and serving as a clinical instructor at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. His true passion, however, is caring for his patients and their families and creating lasting relationships. Dr. Carr has been voted numerous times as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and a Favorite Doc by the readers of Williamson Parent Magazine.
