About Dr. Thomas Pollet
PLEASE NOTE: Active Chiropractic Care is IN NETWORK with NYSHIP, Medicare, Workers Compensation and No Fault and OUT OF NETWORK with 1199, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Emblem Health (GHI), Fidelis, Health First, Medicaid, United Health Care. HOWEVER, our office ACCEPTS ALL OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS and many times it is MORE cost effective to become a patient out of network for Chiropractic care.
Our office prides itself on the “no surprises” insurance policy we have with our patients. We verify all patients Out of Network benefits prior to them coming to the office and let them know the out of pocket expenses in advance. We do not bill our patients and all payments are collected at the time of service.
Doctor Thomas J. Pollet began his formal educational career at Queens College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science.
He went on to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College where he graduated with honors in December 2017. During his time at NYCC Doctor Pollet was a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society and was actively involved in the Motion Palpation and Rehab to Performance Clubs where he learned extracurricular gems that would ultimately best serve his patients.
He is competent in applying diversified Chiropractic adjustments, Gonstead Technique, flexion-distraction, ischemic compression, instrument assisted soft tissue massage, taping, electrical muscle stimulation, cold laser therapy, and exercise prescription when necessary and has treated a wide variety of patients from all types of backgrounds.
Doctor Pollet is also a Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys working out at the gym in his free time as a part of his health and Active lifestyle.
He looks forward to continuing his educational career by pursuing a Diplomate degree in Clinical Neurology and additional certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

I've been a patient at Active Chiro since 2018 and I have had the pleasure of being treated by all three doctors. From reception to exit my appointments have always gone smoothly. I have been treated by Dr. Pollet and Dr. Ackerman for about 3 years. They are thorough, Professional and helped my back and neck issues. Both of my boys( 21 and 24) have been coming to Active Chiropractic care for 2 years as well. We are all thankful for Dr. Pollet's and Ackerman's excellent care.

Best chiropractic center in Long Island. Dr. Pollet is extremely experienced and really listens to your concerns. He really excels that in great customer service and effective treatment without feeling rushed.
